Our AAAHC accredited organization serves the Washington Square and Brooklyn locations and acts as a hub for health and wellness activities around the globe for students attending NYU at one of our many study away sites. With over 200 employees dedicated to providing high-quality, student-centered healthcare, NYU has been a leader in nationally recognized continuous quality improvement efforts and for providing fully integrated healthcare to our students. Qualifications Required Education: M.D. or D.O. degree, Board Certified or Board Eligible in either Internal Medicine, Med/Peds, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or related discipline. BLS certification. Required Experience: 2 years minimum experience as a Physician. Current privileges in common urgent care procedures, including laceration repair, local infection management, and fracture and dislocation management. Preferred Experience: Experience working in a Primary Care, and/or Urgent Care setting with a diverse, young adult population and/or Student Health Practice setting preferred. Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: NY State medical license. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration. Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
