Yale-New Haven Hospital is the major teaching and clinical research facility of the Yale University School of Medicine and consistently ranks among the best hospitals in the United States. Yale-New Haven Hospital encompasses the Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital a 118 bed, acute care, psychiatric facility that consists of five main inpatient programs and several specialized step-down intensive outpatient/day hospital programs for adolescents and adults across two hospital campus locations. Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the adolescent service at Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital. The successful candidate will be BE/BC in child and adolescent psychiatry, strong clinical and teaching skills, and demonstrated ability for scholarship
Inpatient Child and Adolescent Unit Chief to lead the 23-bed inpatient adolescent unit, which also serves as the main teaching site for Child/Adolescent training for Yale Psychiatry Residents. The successful candidate will be BC in child and adolescent psychiatry with a minimum of 5 years-experience, strong clinical and teaching skills, demonstrated ability for scholarship, and a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
Emergency Psychiatrist to provide emergency psychiatry care throughout the YNHH system. The successful candidate will be BE/BC, addictions fellowship preferred, with an interest in developing scholarship in areas related to emergency psychiatry and the provision of MAT in the psychiatric emergency setting. Opportunities to expand the role beyond the emergency department exists.
Psychosomatic Medicine psychiatrist to provide C/L services and utilize the Behavioral Intervention Team proactive model of psychiatric consultation at the 1500 bed YNHH. The successful candidate will have completed a fellowship in psychosomatic medicine.
Psychiatrist with expertise in neuromodulation, treatment of mood disorders, and experience with ketamine to provide clinical care in the YNHH Interventional Psychiatry program. The successful candidate will be BC with significant experience with ECT, rTMS, and ketamine; clinical trial experience with experimental therapeutics, and demonstrated ability for scholarship.
