Summary Description: The Department of Neurology at Columbia University Medical Center seeks a neurologist with specialty training in neurointensive care for a faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The candidate will join neurointensivists in the Neurocritical Care Program and share attending responsibilities in a state-of-the art 18-bed neuro-ICU equipped with dedicated CT and 3.0 Tesla MR scanners and EEG and multimodality neuromonitoring capability. Teaching responsibilities include the instruction of seven neurocritical care fellows; neurology, neurosurgery, and emergency medicine residents; and nurses and physician assistants. Candidates will play a vital role in Departmental activities. Minimum Qualifications: MD or MD/PhDBoard certified; NYS licenseMust be able to complete New York Presbyterian Hospital-Medical Staff Office Credentialing Preferred Qualifications: Depending on the field of research and current needs for field and instructional coverage within the Department, certain subspecialties may be preferred.
