Summary Description: Columbia University Medical Center, in affiliation with NewYork Presbyterian Hospital, is seeking a full-time physician for its busy urban Urgent Care Center and Adult Emergency Department Rapid Medical Evaluation Unit. Candidates should have strong clinical and teaching skills and demonstrated experience in the effective management of patients with lower acuity complaints. Responsibilities will include: direct patient care, performing medical examinations in routine and emergency situations was well as treating common/lower acuity illnesses and injuries. The candidate will also support for the Department's research and administration.The Academic appointment for this position will be at Columbia University Medical Center, with the faculty rank appropriate to education, clinical and teaching experience.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York.
Preferred Qualifications: Residency training in EM, experience with Fast Track/Urgent Care preferred
