The Nemours Children’s Hospital is recruiting a dynamic 5th BC/BE pediatric pulmonologist. The Nemours Children’s Hospital continues to expand, adding new physicians, staff, programs and facilities to meet the growing needs of the Central Florida community. Nemours Children’s Hospital is located in the Lake Nona medical complex which includes the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and Research Center. A combined Medical Staff of well over a 1000 pediatric medical and surgical specialists, Nemours provides the most comprehensive pediatric care available not only in the state of Florida, but also nationally. The Pediatric Pulmonology Division includes four pulmonologists, three nurse practitioners, five nurses, four respiratory therapists, social worker, and dietitian. The Pulmonary Division has active research and clinical programs in cystic fibrosis, asthma, chronic lung disease, sleep medicine, medical education, neuromuscular, sickle cell, home ventilation and bronchoscopy. The comprehensive Pediatric Sleep medicine program is supported by a state-of-the-art eight bed pediatric sleep lab. Our Home Ventilation Program has over 100 children and infants. Our well-trained pediatric registered therapists operate a full service pediatric pulmonary function laboratory; with the possible development of a world - class exercise physiology laboratory with the prestigious USTA (United States Tennis Association).
