STAFF PHYSICIAN, URGENT CARE , MIT Medical , to perform thirty-two hours of direct patient care and eight hours of administrative or indirect patient care, including charting, referrals, care coordination, and interdepartmental or campus-wide health promotion activities. Will also share call responsibilities with Adult Primary Care on a rotating basis (one to two times per month).
With locations on the culturally diverse MIT campus and on the campus of MIT-affiliated Lincoln Laboratory, MIT Medical provides care to the 24,000+ members of the MIT community including students, faculty, staff, retirees, and their dependents.
REQUIRED : a doctorate degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine; completion of a residency program in family medicine, medicine/pediatrics, or general internal medicine; clinical experience in urgent care and emergency medicine; and state licensure to practice medicine in MA, federal DEA certification, a MCSR license, and BLS and ACLS certification; and three years' experience.
