HSS is building a new outpatient center in West Palm Beach, Florida. The center will be sports medicine-focused and will encompass a 52,000 square foot center equipped with physician offices, imaging, rehabilitation, operating rooms and sports performance. The facility is scheduled to open in late 2019 and will be an international destination for world class sports medicine care. The center will remain closely connected to the HSS Main Campus, to include ongoing educational programs and for coordination of HSS-wide initiatives. Responsibilities: This member of the HSS Primary Sports Medicine (PSM) service will have a full-time clinical practice providing comprehensive musculoskeletal care to adults and children at the HSS Florida office in West Palm Beach. Other specialists from HSS will also be on site including sports surgeons, arthroplasty surgeons, physiatrists and other musculoskeletal specialists. This location will have state of the art physician offices, imaging, physical therapy and performance services, as well as ambulatory surgery. Participation via webex in the PSM service educational and scholarly activities, as well as business meetings is expected. Additionally, opportunities for team and sport event coverage are available for interested candidates. There is an expectation that the physician will become involved with the West Palm Beach community by offering educational programs, and engaging with nearby schools and local primary care physicians to grow the new practice.
Eligible for a license in the state of Florida
Current Board Certification in Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
Current Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine
4 or more years of post-fellowship experience preferred
