This position is offered for practitioners who desire to advance their knowledge and skills in internal medicine pharmacotherapy upon successful completion of a PGY-1 residency. The program is flexible and focuses on the goals of the resident but is intended to provide clinical, research, and teaching experience. Required rotations include internal medicine, ambulatory care, medical or cardiac ICU, antibiotic stewardship. Elective rotations include emergency medicine, solid tumor malignancies, solid organ transplant, drug information, and practice management. The resident will also be joining the ambulatory care team for a six-month longitudinal experience in the ambulatory care setting to conduct telemedicine, diabetes clinic, as well as general medicine clinic.
Requirements include: Doctor of Pharmacy degree; completion of a PGY1 pharmacy residency; College of Pharmacy transcript; curriculum vitae, letter of intent, three references within PHORCAS, and onsite interview.
