The Department of Emergency Medicine @ SCHC is seeking BC/BE general pediatricians. This position will join an expanding department, which serves as a regional trauma center providing comprehensive care during medical or trauma related emergencies to more than 70,000 children and adolescents each year. SCHC is a 189 bed quaternary care children's hospital with the only dedicated pediatric burn center in the Philadelphia area. The hospital houses more than 220 staff pediatric experts/ sub specialists and a competitive Pediatric Residency Program, with multiple subspecialty fellowship programs, including Pediatric Emergency Medicine. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical skills with a high interest in teaching. There is also an opportunity to pursue research interest, in particular as they relate to our multicultural community and clinical setting.
