Tampa General Hospital’s Emergency & Trauma Center has six trauma rooms, including one dedicated to pediatric patients. The Center has 66 treatment rooms, two operating rooms, and a dedicated pediatric emergency care center, which includes a pediatric waiting area. The Center also includes areas dedicated to minor emergency, chest pain, and stroke. Our multi-system trauma program and state-licensed stroke center have received disease-specific certification from The Joint Commission. Our team of dedicated emergency care professionals provides patients with the highest quality of care. Our highly qualified and experienced Aero med medical team includes RNs, Paramedics and EMTs. Our aviation partners, the pilots and mechanics, are also integral team members.
We are currently seeking Emergency Department Registered Nurses who, under general supervision, will follow established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, while delivering nursing care to patients.
BSN (or ASN with more than one year of RN hospital experience and enrollment in a BSN program)
