The Pharmacy Residency Program (PGY1) at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN is a twelve-month program consisting of core and elective learning experiences that are tailored to the resident’s interests.
Fairview Southdale Hospital is a 329 bed medical center that provides comprehensive medical services in more than 40 specialty services including; cardiology, orthopedics, oncology, obstetrics, primary care, neurosciences, critical care, vascular surgery and emergency medicine services. The Pharmacy Residency Program consists of direct patient care experiences in medicine, surgery, critical care, transitions of care, neurology and other various specialty areas. Each resident’s experience is tailored to individual interests and clinical skill development needs. The program also focuses on the development of leadership and management skills. A publishable residency research project will be designed and completed by the resident.
