Berkeley Medical Center is a 180-bed, non-profit community hospital in the panhandle of West Virginia and is affiliated with the WVUMedicine health system. BMC offers the ability to provide hands-on care for a variety of patient populations. Programs include infectious disease, critical care, pediatrics, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and oncology.
Jefferson Memorial Hospital is a critical access hospital in the panhandle of West Virginia, also under the WVUMedicine health system umbrella. JMH has an active emergency department and ambulatory care services provided by a pharmacist that include anticoagulation monitoring, diabetes counseling, and a CHF clinic.
Graduation from an ACPE accredited school or college of pharmacy
Eligible for licensing by the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy
Eligible for employment at BMC or JMH
Interest in acute care, ambulatory care, and pharmacy education
Desire for independent practice and self-directed learning
