Pharmacy Systems Inc. Manages the pharmacy services at McLaren Thumb Region Bad Axe, MI and will hire a Director of Pharmacy to manage the Pharmacy department.
About the location: Huron Medical Center is a 64 bed acute care hospital in Huron County. It's the only hospital in the tri-county area (Huron, Sanilac, and Tuscola) providing obstetrical services. The Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day/7days a week and is staffed with onsite Emergency Medicine physicians and experienced emergency room staff.
Huron Medical Center is comprised of the hospital, specialty clinics and associations with Seton Cancer Institute, St. Mary's Hospital of Michigan and Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital making Huron a certified Pink Ribbon Facility, a distinction awarded only to an elite group of healthcare facilities.
Manage and direct the activities of the Department of Pharmacy.
Develop, implement, and monitor compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain a system of staff development and evaluation to ensure compliance with regulatory issues and to promote optimal patient care.
Develop and maintain a system of financial and inventory control according to hospital standards, including preparation, submission and administration of an annual departmental budget.
Directs departmental participation in various hospital committees to ensure appropriate representation (including, but not limited to, Infection Control Committee, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, Safety Committee).

Management experience in a healthcare/hospital inpatient environment.
Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility.
