The internship will foster strong ambulatory, medical and clinical skills. It will enable development of excellent diagnostic and therapeutic plans and will teach premium client communication. The varied case load will prepare you for private ambulatory practice.
The intern will be exposed to general practice, in-house lameness.performance evaluation, emergency medicine (ambulatory and hospitalized) and reproductive cases. The intern will be initially fully supervised, then will be indirectly supervised and may be scheduled to see ambulatory and emergency calls based on skill set and proficiency. This may include colic workups, lacerations, dentistry, preventative care and acute lameness. THe intern will also assist with and provide diagnostic and therapeutic plans, primary care of hospitalized patients and overnight care if needed. The intern is scheduled to work 5 days a week and two out of four weekends a month.

An associate veterinarian is wanted for full-time employment in a busy and growing 2 veterinarian practice. Practice ranges from sport horses and hunter/jumpers to western performance and trail horses. An interest in lameness is a must! We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent client and staff communication skills and a strong technical skill set. Experience is preferred but all applicants are welcome.
