UH Richmond Medical Center is a full-service, 125-bed acute care teaching hospital serving the residents of Lake and eastern Cuyahoga counties. The hospital is part of University Hospitals Health System, which is one of the nation’s leading health care systems. UH Richmond Medical Center provides community-based health care with direct access to the clinical innovation and leading-edge research at UH Cleveland Medical Center. UH Richmond Medical Center is also home to UH Cleveland Medical Center’s Psychiatry Unit with 41 beds available in both acute adult and mood disorders. The hospital has over 400 physicians representing over 30 specialties who provide expert care in a wide range of comprehensive medical and surgical services. In addition, UH Richmond Medical Center offers an integrated teaching model with over 100 physician residents and fellows with programs in internal medicine, family medicine, orthopedic surgery, dermatology, emergency medicine, sports medicine, allergy and immunology, and one of the largest podiatry programs in the country. UH Richmond Medical Center PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program offers a variety of rotations within a community setting including internal medicine, emergency department, psychiatry, critical care, pain management, management, and family medicine longitudinal clinic.
Graduates of accredited Colleges of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and eligible for licensure in the state of Ohio may submit the following materials via PhORCAS to the program director for consideration for residency program admission:
