Multiple systems for safety are also utilized including bar code technology for all administered medications. There are Clinical Specialists in critical care, cardiology, antimicrobial stewardship, internal medicine and neonatal intensive care.
Pharmacy Practice residency is designed to provide an accelerated level of experience to achieve professional goals. The residency will provide experiences in providing pharmaceutical care to patients, providing direct consultative services to patients, and education and drug information to patients and health care providers. The residency also provides experiences to enhance management and leadership skills including work ethic, responsibility, integrity, team building, persuasive communication and self-confidence.
