The UR Pharmacy Department is committed to improving the well-being of patients by delivering innovative, compassionate, patient- and family-centered comprehensive medication management, enriched by education, science, and technology. The Critical Care Residency is a 12-month, full time curriculum that provides the essential elements needed to develop a successful critical care pharmacy specialist. The intensive training involves activities in a wide variety of practice settings including: Medical, Surgical, Neuromedicine, Burn/trauma, and Cardiovascular Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, and Toxicology. The resident will also participate on several response teams including code, stroke, sepsis, and pulmonary embolism throughout the institution.
