Vanderbiltâs elite LifeFlight department is a large transportation network that has more than 250 employees, seven helicopters, an airplane, ground ambulances, and an emergency communications center. They are responsible for the care and treatment of patients being transported by Vanderbilt, as well as special events. Vanderbilt LifeFlight has eight ground ambulances, some of which are used by its ground division and shared with its Event Medicine division.

JOB SUMMARY: Performs emergency communications coordination. Provides information and emergency notification to customers. Works with advanced communications systems. Practices continuous professional development and excellent customer service. Practices proactive operational support of the department.
Performs and documents safe, efficient and accurate coordination for all designated Emergency Services assets.
Understands the operations and applications of all communication equipment.
Communicates information and emergency notification to customers in an efficient, concise and courteous manner.
Demonstrates the knowledge and understanding of Emergency Response procedures.
Maintains competency per regulatory and accreditation compliance.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT (FUNDAMENTAL AWARENESS):- Has limited experience, training, direct exposure, or past experience working with emergency management.
