This Manager, Program Administration I will be responsible for:
Overseeing a national validation study for the early literacy milestone screener, including the recruitment of school districts and preschools/day cares nationwide; scheduling of school-based testing with administrative personnel in the districts; supervision, coordination, training of psychometric testers who will screen children in their local school districts; overseeing data scoring and entry into online databases as well as database maintenance; management of project funds and administrative work (e.g. preparation of internal review board proposals, purchasing supplies).
Managing one or an aspect of a large program and may develop and implement program plans, schedule and budgets.
Identifying and managing the development of new programs and monitoring the performance of programs and recommending changes.
Hiring and training staff as needed.
Assisting and advising executives on project initiatives additionally.
To qualify, you must have :
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years' experience. (Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience). Master's degree preferred.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
Experience working with diverse internal and external constituencies.
