Pharmacists successfully completing a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota will be proficient practitioners providing advanced pharmaceutical care to critical care patients. Required clinical learning experiences include: Coronary intensive care unit (ICU), Medical ICU, Nutrition Support, Surgical ICU, Trauma ICU and Teaching. A host of elective experiences are available, including but not limited to: Critical Care Infectious Diseases, Critical Care Nephrology, Emergency Medicine, Immunocompromised ICU, and Neurology ICU. Additionally, a quality improvement project, research project and online staffing are required.
