The twelve-month residency offers the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge, and a practice philosophy at a university teaching hospital. Teaching Certificate Program
The hospital has a training affiliation with the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. As part of this affiliation, the resident participates in a teaching certificate program (Resident Education Academy), seminar series, and resident research conference.

Qualifications of Resident Applicants
Applicants must possess a Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy. Applicants must be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri with additional medication therapy services certification. Missouri offers temporary licensure for pharmacy residents.
