The Department of Imaging Sciences at the University of Rochester is seeking an ABR-certified/eligible radiologist to join the Division of Emergency Radiology at University of Rochester Medical Center. We are the only Level 1 Trauma Center within the Rochester region.
This is a five-year-old expanding division. The division places emphasis on Attendings reading 24/7/365 days per year and currently operates from 10pm to 8am. During the other hours subspecialized radiologists read ED examinations.
The department has state-of-the-art IT and capture equipment. Emergency Radiologists oversee all aspects of diagnostic imaging at The University of Rochester Medical Center and its affiliates. We value our excellent collaborations with Emergency Medicine Surgery, Trauma Service, and our other radiology department specialty sections.
The clinical schedule includes a seven day shift with fourteen days off service.
This allows ample non-clinical time to allow for sleep recovery and academic productivity. As the group matures this schedule is subject to change. Compensation and benefits packages are highly competitive.
Prior to the start of employment, the individual must be ABR certified, Fellowship trained and possess or be eligible for New York State licensure.
