The pharmacy practice residency gives in-depth experiences in a broad range of pharmacy practice settings. Residents present formal lectures, in-services, CE programs, and prepare a major project. The resident also serves as preceptor for pharmacy clerkship students from several schools of pharmacy during some rotations. Residents have the option of completing an ASHP certification program including teaching certificate, pain management, or medication safety. The goal of the residency is to develop future leaders in pharmacy practice. You will receive an excellent education during the year you spend with us and benefit by developing and enhancing your:

Moses Taylor Hospital offers blocked as well as longitudinal* core rotations and several elective rotations throughout the year. Core rotations may be repeated, allowing the resident to tailor the program to their educational needs. Learning experience blocks are four to six weeks long. The resident also has the opportunity of completing elective rotations off site. Finally, there are dedicated blocks of time throughout the year for the resident to work on their research project.
