Christiana Care is currently seeking for a Registered Nurse to work as the Site Nurse & Workflow Facilitator for the Medical Aide Units. This position is 36 hours per week. Selected candidate will rotate to all of the locations, as needed. Weekend and holidays as per the department guidelines. Typical Weekend rotation is 2 weekends per month and Holidays generally every other.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: This position is responsible for assisting providers in the examination and treatment of patients. To deliver quality patient care and to perform other clinical and clerical duties within the unit. To oversee daily MAU Unit workflow, patient experience, quality of care, customer service and compliance initiatives for the MAU.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :
Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
Commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience.
Graduate of a state approved or National League of Nursing accredited training program.
Supervisory experience preferred
Unrestricted Delaware RN License
3 years of related clinical experience required. Acute, Ambulatory or Emergency Room preferred
Demonstrated experience working with physicians & staff to improve patient care, education employees and coordinate quality initiatives.
