Residency Special Features: Working closely with the internal medicine medical residency program, the resident will have experiences in adult medicine, critical care, infectious disease, emergency medicine and the internal medicine clinic. Elective options include HIV medicine, cardiology, psychology, and nephrology. Ample teaching opportunities are available within the program at a variety of different sites and to a variety of different groups including medical residents and students and pharmacy residents and students. Program is done in conjunction with Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) at Oklahoma State University Medical Center (OSUMC).

Site Special Features: Opened in 1944 as Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital, OSUMC has grown to become the largest acute care osteopathic teaching hospital in the nation. Our hospital serves as a teaching center for 150 medical residents and helps to train a variety of healthcare professionals in a variety of different specialties. Our pharmacy program prides itself in providing a strong foundation in general medicine, teaching opportunities, and in our unique service opportunities in HIV management.
