The Stationary Engineer 1 will accurately, effectively and competently operate and adjust equipment such as steam boilers, centrifugal chillers, emergency electrical generators, pumps, and compressors for all Physical Plant facilities on the OHSU West Campus. Responsibilities will include monitoring equipment and record readings, maintain and repair all building systems following published guidelines and industry standards, observe the operation of mechanical devices and determine problems; take corrective action as necessary. Maintain areas such as: boiler room, chiller room, pump room and electrical generator building. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment assigned. Be available to the facilities management staff as needed.
