This position reports directly to the AVP/CRO and will work closely with all staff. The position will be responsible for providing comprehensive oversight of data tracking from functional leads and compiling general office statistical analysis and reports. This position is the database administrator for the RMIS database and provides reports to the CRO. This role is also responsible for assisting the AVP/CRO in Strategic Enterprise Risk Management assessments and in contract review regarding risk/insurance. Risk assessments for general events and activities is also expected from this position. This position will be expected to support Continuity of Operations and Emergency Management for overarching Crisis Management Function. He/She will also support the emergency management response team, as well as the administrative, budgeting, and website functions, as needed.
Provides comprehensive oversight of data tracking from functional leads: (Emergency Management, EHS, and Insurance/Claims) and compiles for CRO reports or presentations as needed. Performs trending analysis. Leads the actuarial review annually. Is the Database Administrator for the Risk Management Information Systems software.
Assists AVP/CRO in Strategic Enterprise Risk Management assessments including Cyber Security, CBRN, and others.
Supports the AVP/CRO in contract inquiries and provides critical thinking in addressing and managing basic contract reviews regarding required insurance, or other identified risks associated with basic contracts.
Conducts risk assessments for general events, activities, etc. and is very knowledgeable regarding insurance policies.
Supports Continuity of Operations and Emergency Management for overarching Crisis Management Function as needed.
Supports overall office administrative functions including: the budgeting and financial reporting function led by the AVP/CRO. Provides analysis of current year budget and accruals against prior year reserves. Process invoice payments and support the ORM with purchasing supplies. Provides support for allocation of premiums and recharges in general. Provides review and updates of the website as needed.
Supports the emergency management response as needed.

Education and Experience:
A bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in analytics in risk management is required for this role. A Master's degree in the field of Business, Insurance, Finance, or Computer Science is preferred.
Previous database experience is preferred. An Associates in Risk Management, a Risk Management Undergraduate degree, or an Associates in Claim is strongly desired.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills and a strong customer service orientation. Problem solving, Project Management, and Time management are also key. Organizational and planning skills with a keen attention to detail is a must.
Candidate should have the ability to work with a wide range of people at varying levels of skill and authority, effectively, is required. Must be able to multi-task and manage and prioritize day to day tasks. Strong understanding of compliance is preferred - ability to learn is required.
Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint, is required. Additional software, as needed for database support, is preferred.
