The Director of Emergency Services has responsibility and accountability for the operation and management of the entire Emergency Department. This includes planning, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all activities related to Emergency Services to meet established standards, as well as developing and managing personnel and fiscal resources. The Director appropriately delegates responsibilities to coordinate operations and provides direction and leadership for the staff.
Current license as a Registered Nurse by the State Board of Nursing for South Carolina
5+ years of experience in ED of which two (2) must be in a managerial capacity
Masters Degree in Nursing or related area
More than 3 years of managerial experience within nursing
