Our PGY-1 residency provides a wide range of clinical experiences with a focus on inpatient acute care. Outcomes of the program are to:
Develop well-rounded pharmacy practice knowledge in order to practice independently in a hospital setting.
Provide the resident with a strong foundation of skills and experiences to pursue additional training in a PGY-2 program.
Demonstrate pharmacy leadership and clinical skills independently or within a multi-disciplinary team.
The residency offers varied learning experience in areas including: critical care, infectious diseases, internal medicine, administration, pediatrics, and emergency medicine. Residents will also partake in pharmacotherapy seminars and grand rounds.

2. Eligible for pharmacist licensure in Texas
