Winter Park is a growing, progressive city offering a wide range of upscale shopping and dining. The area has several state parks and offers abundant outdoor activities including kayaking, hiking, biking and running events.
WPVH was established over 60 years ago and is committed to remaining family owned. We build life-long relationships with pets and their owners by delivering compassionate and high-quality care. The hospital is a respected part of the community and maintains strong local relationships. We are guided by our core values: superior medicine, compassionate care, committed teamwork and unrivaled customer service. We work hard and have fun making a difference in the pets and people we serve.
We provide full service treatment for companion dogs and cats and a variety of small mammals, birds and exotic pets. We are looking for an associate with positive energy, professionalism and an outgoing personality. New graduates are encouraged to apply and will be well-mentored by our skilled and professional team of veterinarians.
Our hospital will be renovated towards the end of this year. We are creating a 12,000 sq/ft state- of-the-art small animal hospital designed to continue to move small animal medicine into the future. We use the latest equipment and have a fully trained support staff capable of allowing our doctors to be doctors. We are equipped with: ultrasound, digital radiography, 2 therapy lasers, CE cutting surgical CO2laser, exotic specific equipment, digital dental radiography and a separate surgery room. We offer in-house lab, emergency and specialty affiliations, acupuncture (by a certified veterinarian on staff) and full boarding services. We also have a popular indoor/outdoor doggie daycare facility. In 2017, we opened a Wellness Center for dogs and cats. This new facility focuses on wellness care and minor medical needs using fear free techniques in a spa-like atmosphere. Our future goal is to add a CT Scan in the main hospital within the next 18 months.
We are open Monday-Friday 7am-7pm, Saturday/Sunday 8am-2pm, with major holidays closed.
