The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant, Full or Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. The successful applicant will be accomplished in the area of Radiology. Expertise in the specific area of Neuroradiology. Completion of a two-year neuroradiology fellowship is strongly recommended is required. Responsibilities include providing outstanding clinical service to all referring clinicians, and expert clinical consultation to our partners in the departments of Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Emergency Medicine – Trauma, Psychiatry, and Ophthalmology. Active participation in the education and training of radiology residents, neuroradiology fellows, medical students, and visiting scholars is a significant requirement. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Candidates should be ABR certified with Neuroradiology CAQ eligibility.
An ability to participate in and contribute to a high-quality teaching program is an integral feature of the AC track faculty position. The Academic-Clinician (AC) track in Radiology places an emphasis on clinical radiology practice and teaching in the academic setting. Scholarly activity is encouraged, but promotional consideration is primarily based on clinical and teaching expertise.

Teaching activities in the Neuroradiology Division include:
Daily clinical supervision of residents and neuroradiology fellows
Lecturing at assigned resident didactic conferences
Lecturing at neuroradiology fellow lecture series
Attendance and teaching at monthly follow-up conferences and tumor board reviews
Participation in monthly journal club meetings
