The Program Coordinator's primary focus is to provide support for programmatic efforts that fall within the Leadership Development for Part-Time MBA Program officeâ™s scope of work. This includes: LAUNCH/LEAD, Leadership In Practice, Booth Women Advance, as well as Executive MBA LEAD and other session needs. Additionally, this position is essential to the administrative functions of the office.
This is a part-time, temporary position expected to last approximately one year.
Provide program support for LEAD sessions (LAUNCH, Kick-Off Week) and Leadership Development electives (Leadership In Practice, Booth Woman Advance, etc.).
Identify and initiate logistical needs/solutions for program/class delivery, including: session planning, room reservations, material preparation, catering requests, fulfilling AV and facilitator needs, etc.
Support the administrative and data processing tasks essential for all self-assessments and data collecting utilized for LEAD, LIP, and BWA.
Prepare and manage event logistics, which include: scheduling, managing registrations, processing event refunds, class reminders, etc.
Conduct research for current and new leadership development workshops/topics
Assist in recording and analyzing evaluation data, which measures the effectiveness/success of electives/classes and identify themes showcasing success and opportunities for growth
Help staff events, sessions, etc.
Some evening and weekend work is required (~25%)
Education, Experience or Certifications
Some college coursework required.
High school diploma or GED required
At least one year of directly related professional experience required.
Experience working in higher education or in corporate/NFP preferred.
Technical Knowledge or Skills:
Ability to work evenings/weekends required.
Ability to achieve objectives with minimal direction, demonstrate leadership skills and a self-starter required.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
Professional demeanor, tactful, respects confidentiality, service-oriented required.
Ability to be agile and pivot with changing priorities required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Strong detail orientation and organizational skills required.
