Located in Fort Collins, Mountain Crest offers services to clients in northern Colorado, western Nebraska, and southern Wyoming. With accreditation by national and state agencies, Mountain Crest is a service of Poudre Valley Hospital, but operates in a modern stand-alone center on a beautiful campus with trees, lawns, a team-building ropes course, and other outdoor benefits for therapeutic use.
Mountain Crest is a treatment driven community facility for mental health, with a strong nursing staff, team environment, and physician support. Mountain Crest provides an environment for growth, learning, and mentoring.
In addition to our current employee benefit package, Mountain Crest will also provide free supervision by a licensed therapist toward licensure in a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities in group therapy, individual, case management and emergency room assessments of psychiatric patients. You will also have opportunities to learn DBT skills.
· Facilitates assigned patient assessments, individual and group therapeutic activities including coaching milieu management, and case management.
· Systematically and continually assesses the patient's coping mechanisms in collaboration with the patient, care team and family.
· Utilizes appropriate teaching methods and/or referrals to ensure patient/family educational needs are met.
· Assesses, collaborates and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs and readiness for discharge with other members of the care team.
· Bachelor's degree in psych or related field.
