The Clinical Research Coordinator A will assist in conducting several new and ongoing studies in the Department of Emergency Medicine, including the ‘Neighborhood Chronic Stress Study’ and ‘Housing and health.’ A portion of time will also be devoted to studies partnering with the US Forest Service Northern Research Station, including ‘Green space and health.’ Responsibilities will include a variety of research and administrative tasks including recruiting and enrolling participants at the YMCA and during home visits in different communities across Philadelphia; contacting participants for follow data collection; time spent in the community collecting participant data; management of project equipment and data collection; attend project meetings; IRB management; conducting background research to support the studies; conducting literature searches and assisting with manuscript preparation; and other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
