Wellspan Health, a sophisticated medical community in south central Pennsylvania seeks a leader in Pulmonary Critical Care medicine. This position is for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonary/Critical Care physician.

About the Practice •Full service consultative practice with ICU/Pulmonary inpatient & outpatient components •Join 2 physicians (shared call)•2 dedicated inpatient critical care APCs (7 on 7 off) to minimize call impact •Robust open heart/vascular program •Stable, secure employment with WellSpan Medical Group – a large multi-specialty group employing over 1200 physicians in all specialties •Inpatients admitted to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital – a 169-bed community hospital •18 state of the art ICU beds with many protocols in place•Busy emergency department with 55,000+ visits per year •Large primary care referral base of 50+ primary care physicians •24/7 hospitalist service handles the majority of admissions, dedicated nocturnist coverage •In-house EMR is EPIC.
Benefits •$375,000 salary, with $50,000 sign on, 5 weeks time off + 6 holidays, outstanding benefits including medical, dental, and vision, plus a matching retirement plan. We also provide medical malpractice with tail coverage, paid relocation and a CME stipend.

Graduate of an ACGME or OGME accredited IM residency Graduate of an ACGME or OGME accredited PUL & CC fellowship Must have or be able to obtain a PA medical license Must have or be able to obtain a DEA license Active ACLS & ATLS certification
