Animal Hospital of Nashua is seeking an associate to join our multi-doctor 24-HR family practice this Fall 2018! A candidate must be team-oriented and share in our values of excellent veterinary medicine and practice strong client care and communication. This position has the support of our Board-Certified Surgeon; Internal Medicine Specialist; and two Medical Directors along with our close-knit team of practitioners.

Located in the Greater Northern Boston area and 1 mile away from Massachusetts,we are a fully-equipped, AAHA-Certified, 24-HR veterinary hospital in the city of Nashua, New Hampshire. We are only 1 hour away from the N.H. Lakes and Mountain Regions and Maine Seacoast.
Our general practice services include wellness exams, vaccinations, preventative care, diagnostics, ultrasound, dental care and surgery. We have in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, 24/7 ICU, and expansive surgery suites and dental area. A general practice associate sees a mix of urgent care and wellness care.
We believe in a collaborative approach to veterinary medicine. We have on-site Board-Certified specialists available to assist our veterinarians. We embrace a hybrid veterinary practice model that merges primary care, 24-Hour emergency care, and secondary care under one roof. We further take a doctor-first, client-centric approach. Our veterinarians enjoy set schedules that allow for a quality of life and a professional management team that supports them in daily practice along with skilled and trained support staff to support the delivery of only the highest quality of care.
Our Medical Directors have 33+ years of experience in private practice and are willing to offer coaching and mentoring to the right internship-trained candidate; they further provide ongoing support, assistance, and training to our medical team.

Veterinarian Skills and Qualifications
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of New Hampshire.
Internship trained and/or 3 years in private practice preferred but, we will always training and coaching and mentoring to the right candidate with only a internship.
Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
The ability to make decisions and communicate clearly and effectively with fellow team members and clients.
Respect for and willingness to work with clients and their pets.
A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
Develop and maintain trusting client relationships with every client who visits the hospital.
Perform the primary functions of a small animal veterinarian, namely, examine and treat patients, prescribe treatments, perform surgery.
Respond appropriately to the caseload of the hospital as directed by the staff.
Provide follow-up communication and care, as appropriate, for all cases treated.
Provide follow-up communication and care for any patient, as requested.
Assist in retaining existing clients, developing new clients and enhancing the hospital reputation in the community through community outreach.
Participate in providing continuing education for our staff.
Attend and participate in all team and individual meetings as requested.
