Schedule: This is a full time position requiring 36 hours per week
The Polysomnographic Technician develops competency in and performs polysomnographic testing, analysis, and associated interventions under the general oversight of a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or the clinical director (MD, PhD, DO), and works under the direct supervision of a Polysomnographic Therapist or designee as competency are developed.
Minimum Education Requirements
High School diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience Requirements
Demonstrates professional/technical competencies and knowledge.
The technician must satisfy the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist eligibility criteria and achieve registry at such time that the eligibility requirements set forth by the BRPT are met.

The Polysomnographic Technician must be able to work independently as competencies are obtained and verified and provide individualized customer service to patients, families, physicians, and staff. *
The technician is also responsible for assisting in and participating in the department performance improvement projects as directed. *
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
