The Interface Analyst is responsible for designing functional and technical interface specification. This includes development of the interfaces according to specifications that meet organizational and application business needs. Responsible for leadership and oversight for Information Services work groups in order to meet deadlines associated with interface projects. This individual will work as a member of cross-functional teams that deal with the full spectrum of information management technology. Responsibilities may also include assisting in group and team direction and work assignments.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in business computing, computer science, health care degree or relevant experience.

Working knowledge of HL7, EDI or XML. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Access.
Seven years experience in systems applications and development.
Four or more years experience developing within e*Gate 4.5x and 5.0x environments using both Monk and Java.
Two or more years' working knowledge of HL7, X12 or XML required.
Two or more years' healthcare industry experience required, developing custom healthcare applications.
Four or more years experience in project management or project leadership roles.
Ten years systems analysis experience in systems applications.
JCAPS, Java2EE, UNIX scripting, Cerner Millennium, MS Source Safe experience a plus.
Experience with CHRISTUS St. Vincent's existing technology and applications.
Five or more years experience in project management or project leadership roles.
