The Location Initiated Individualized Texts for Adolescent Health (LIITAH) program will deliver individually and culturally tailored messaging to adolescents encouraging them to make healthy food choices via a smartphone app. Under general direction of faculty, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project activities, will assist with reports to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and funder, and will oversee adherence to project timelines. She/he will assist with recruitment, planning of focus groups and semi-structured interviews, conducting Advisory Board meetings, adapting messages, database management, assisting with data analysis, and ensuring fidelity to the project protocol. The Project Coordinator will also supervise the closing of study operations and archiving of data.

Masters-level graduate training in Health Behavior and Health Education or a related Public Health field
4-5 years of experience in a related field
Prior experience in managing large health services research projects
Prior research experience in health behavior change in diverse populations
Technical aptitude and comfort with new and emerging technologies
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with external collaborators and technical development partners
Travel to assist with focus groups
Proficiency in the use of MS Office products
Ability to work both independently and as a team member
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Excellent attendance, ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, manage deadlines without undue stress and exercise good judgment
Experience with statistical analysis
Prior experience with mobile intervention projects
Prior experience working on a mobile application development project
Monday - Friday days and some evening hours (not to exceed 40 hours/week)
