Cape Fear Valley Health System has retained Cejka Executive Search to conduct a national search to recruit a nurse executive to serve as the Corporate Service Line Director of Women and Children Services.
Located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Cape Fear Valley Health System is the 8th largest health system in the state and serves more than a million patients. Cape Fear Valley Health System includes eight hospitals totaling 1,100-beds with Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, a 600-bed hospital, as the flagship facility, over 7,000 employees and 850 physicians providing services to a six-county region in southeastern North Carolina. Cape Fear Valley Health System is recognized as a leader for providing comprehensive care for women and children, which includes over 4,500 annual deliveries; 15 Labor, Delivery and Recovery rooms; 44-bed level IV NICU; 8-bed PICU; children’s center; pediatric emergency department and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services.
The Corporate Service Line Director will provide executive, administrative and management to one of Cape Fear Valley Health System’s leading service lines: Women and Children services. The Corporate Service Line Director will lead business and clinical initiatives to achieve optimal performance, physician and patient satisfaction, quality and safety measures and operational efficiency to achieve a best-in-class Women and Children service line across the health system. The Corporate Service Line Director partners with designated Medical Directors to advance clinical practices, financial performance, and strategic initiatives to enhance quality, performance, and service and market leadership.
Ideal candidates will have progressive management experience with responsibility for operational, financial and clinical services of a high volume Women and Children department. Expertise in physician engagement; staff development; process improvement relating to quality, safety and patient care; and financial management are required. A bachelor’s degree is nursing is required, and a master’s degree is preferred.
