Schedule: Full Time; generally M-F 8a-5p. In this salaried leadership role some weekend and/or overnight emergency staffing coverage may be required.
Shift: Variable, primarily days
Provides oversight and departmental leadership (employee development, quality improvement, process creation,
scheduling, and other tasks) in the Transfer Center. Supports services by updating, researching and maintaining databases
utilized by staff. Direct supervision of Transfer Coordinators to ensure adherence to all policies and procedures. Will
facilitate all goals established for Transfer Center and provide leadership role in day-to-day operations. Also, maintains
responsibilities for answering incoming and making outbound calls in a transfer center setting that assists with patient
transfers to Centura Hospitals and consultations with Centura Specialty Physicians.
Minimum Experience Requirements
5 years Customer Service/Customer Complaint experience required
1 year previous Supervisory/Managerial leadership experience required (preferably in a transfer center setting)
Knowledge of medical terminology required; healthcare experience preferred
Experience in EMS-related field or dispatching strongly preferred
Proficiency with software programs including dispatching, Microsoft Office, and internal systems
Customer service skills
High School diploma required
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience is considered
