The Scheduling Coordinator III will be responsible for:
Running the day-to-day operations of the Travel and Geographic Medicine Clinic and coordinating all aspects of the clinic.
Scheduling patient appointments.
Checking in patients for appointments at the front desk.
Collecting and entering insurance and billing information.
Coordinating the provider schedule.
Answering telephone calls and performing general office administrative work.
To qualify, you must have:
A high school level of educational development and one to two years' experience or a bachelor's degree is preferred
The analytical skills and judgment to interpret data and take appropriate action in circumstances and situations that vary.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
Strong attention to details, commitment to excellence and strong planning and organizational skills, using time efficiently and prioritizing and coordinating tasks appropriately.
Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
