Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient or inpatient preferred
Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association
Successful completion of EEG registry within 2 years of hire date
Position Duties (essential functions denoted with an * )
Applies electrodes in accordance with the ACNS guidelines.*
Performs prescribed testing.*
Reviews patient's history and educates patient about procedure.*
Monitors and documents patient's condition and responds to and reports and adverse reactions.*
Identifies and corrects for artifacts.*
Edits and forwards results to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.*
Scores/graphs, analyses, documents and reports results of diagnostic preocedures.*
On call requirement per department policy.*
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
