Position Summary: The Nurse Manager is responsible for the coordination of the overall operations of an assigned unit(s) to include the provision of resources and an environment that facilitates optimal, cost efficient patient care delivery. This position defines and monitors the standards of patient care and nursing practice, ensures availability and appropriate utilization of needed human and material resources, supports collaboration between nursing, physicians, and other disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes. Major decisions are subject to the review and approval of the Clinical Director. This position requires extensive internal and external contacts. Internal contacts are with all levels of staff and management. External contacts include physicians, physician office staff, outside health care providers and organizations, vendors, and management from other health care facilities and agencies.
Our ED is looking for two roles. An ED Manager for the Main ED (23 Beds and 41 FTE's) as well as an ED Manager for our Free Standing ED. Both of these roles require a min of a BSN and experience with budgeting and staffing. The Director is looking for a great mentor who has experience with evidence-base practice, shared Governance and knowledge of Studer principles.
Minimum Requirements: 5 years of clinical experience in professional or technical role/function 3 years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity
Education/Licenses/Certifications: Minimum of a bachelor's degree; Master?s degree preferred Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
