We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Lead Drupal Developer.
This position acts as an independent contributor IT professional, applying technical expertise in one or more IT disciplines. This position explores and builds new custom PHP and web modules on Drupal 7/8 Platform. Familiarity with WordPress is also required. Understands the work processes of assigned business areas. Responsibilities include the analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of information. Receives general direction, work in progress is reviewed routinely.
Develop backend service APIs and custom web applications that leverages REST APIs, Drupal Services Module and Symfony Service Consumers.
Develop and maintain custom PHP applications/modules on Drupal 7/8, Wordpress and other open source platforms.
Improve existing frameworks and modules to support additional functionality.
Works closely with business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
Aligns business and IT strategies and complies with MCITs architectural standards.
Participates in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and/or supporting application software.
Makes recommendations towards the development of new code, tools and products or reuse of existing systems.
Participates in systems analysis and design using development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
Works with internal teams and vendors on defining deliverables, tools and methodologies for projects.
Independently designs technical solutions for modules of a project, or to resolve most problems.
Selects appropriate work procedures or approaches to address technical challenges.
Administration of Digital Signage Content Management Platforms, including Drupal, Wordpress and AxisTV.
Must have a BS or MS degree in Computer Science.
Minimum 10 years of experience designing, developing and deploying software solutions.
Minimum 4 years of experience with module development in Drupal 7+.
Experience with Drupal 7 Features development and Custom WebService Development.
Experience with Wordpress.
Experience with RESTFUL webservices.
Experience with GIT/STASH/JIRA.
Experience with Object Oriented Development methodology and design.
