PART TIME CLINICAL ASSOCIATE -PEDIATRIC HOSPITALISTThe University of Chicago's Department of Pediatrics, Section of Academic Pediatrics seeks a Clinical Associate at 20% effort for a renewable one-year term. Clinical responsibilities will include on-site clinical coverage of the pediatric floor, responding to consults from the pediatric emergency room, responding to calls from Labor and Delivery, coordinating patient transport, as needed, and providing subsequent outpatient follow-up to patients discharged from the floor without a primary care physician. This position does not require teaching or scholarly activity. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be board-certified/eligible in general pediatrics, and 4) have completed an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency training program.
