The Private Equity Product Specialist will be part of the "Development Team" of Edmond de Rothschild Private Equity ("EDRPE") whose role is to develop and manage the private equity funds sponsored by Edmond de Rothschild ("EDR Funds"), from dealing with the different managers of EDR Funds, structuring the funds, coordinating the fundraisings and covering the investor relations. The EDR Funds include different strategies in growth capital, emerging markets and real assets.
The Private Equity Product Specialist will manage and co-ordinate fundraises for EDR Funds and act as product specialist alongside Edmond de Rothschild Private Bank and Asset Management ("EDRAM") sales team. The position is based in Paris.
The Private Equity Product Specialist also accompanies, outside the period of a formal fund raise, EDRAM sales team and EDR Funds managers to meet prospective investors and present the private equity offering of the EdR Group. The objective is to raise investor awareness of the EDR Funds managers and, more generally, to promote the EdR brand.
The Private Equity Product Specialist will also provide support in evaluating new prospective fund managers and in fund structuring.
1. Fund Raising Project Management Responsibility for the project management of specific fund raisings:
Participating to the preparation of the fund raising documentation for EdR Fund Managers, including the presentation book, PPM, DDQ, data room, etc.;
Monitoring CRM Management of fund raising mandates, following-up with distribution professionals and issuing weekly fund raising reports to the respective EdR Fund Manager;
Participation in regular calls or meetings with the EdR Fund Managers to discuss fund raising progress.
2. Fund Placement Coordinate the fund raising process with EDRAM toward institutional investors in specific geographies:
Coordinating the marketing effort with EDRAM sales team
Identify all qualified, institutional investors in the assigned geographies and determine a target list of potential investors
Contact the targeted investors in coordination with EDRAM sales team
Establish a positive and regular contact with EDRAM sales team and investors, promoting the EdR Group and the EdR Fund Managers
Organise presentation meetings and provide subsequent support through each investor's due diligence process, responding to information requests and coordinating with the respective EdR Fund Manager
Assist in the negotiation of investor subscriptions
Participate in the structuring phase of the funds
Participate in the identification of potential business opportunities for EDRPE
Participate at private equity conferences and other professional events
Support and assist EdR's legal & compliance teams
Master Degree in Finance
Minimum 5 years professional experience in private equity, ideally as investor relation within a private equity fund
Fluent in French and English
Team spirit, autonomy
Excellent relational skills both internally within the team and the Group, and externally with EDR Funds manager
