The University of Pittsburgh and UPMC have full-time opportunities for emergency medicine residency-trained and board certified/eligible candidates. UPMC is a national leader in health care with a deep and diverse EM faculty internationally recognized for excellence in research, teaching and clinical care. Our four clinical sites provide tertiary and Level I trauma care to approximately 200,000 ED patients collectively each year while training residents, fellows and studetns. The post-cardiac arrest, toxicology and hyperbaric medicine treatment programs are a part of our department, and we have multiple fellowships. Academic clinician, clinician-investigator or clinician-educator career opportunities exist. Salary is commensurate with experience and duties.
