Florida Hospital for Children and Florida Hospital Medical Group are looking for dynamic and energetic pediatric hospitalists to join our team. This inpatient only position would be located at Florida Hospital’s newly acquired hospital in Ocala: Munroe Regional Medical Center.

Coverage would include in house as well as call. Physicians would need to be comfortable with general pediatric patients and attending high risk deliveries as well as well newborn care and be proficient with procedures such as circumcisions and intubations. The newborn service is supported by a level 2 NICU, staffed by experienced neonatologists, who will be available on call for high risk deliveries.
Requirements of the position: Board Certification/Eligible American Board of Pediatrics. NRP and PALS certified. This is an employed opportunity through Florida Hospital Medical Group (FHMG). Our Walt Disney Pavilion at Florida Hospital for Children in Orlando is a full service, tertiary children’s hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, including a 22 bed PICU, 10 bed Cardiac ICU, a 102 bed NICU, 17 bed pediatric emergency department and statewide pediatric network and transport system. We started our comprehensive pediatric open-heart program in 2012 and have a strong track record of positive outcomes. We also have several key destination programs including our level IV Epilepsy program, and we increased Orlando area NICU beds to 150 total in 2017. Our unparalleled network consists of 26 hospitals across the state with one children’s hospital at the center and several extremely successful pediatric subspecialty programs including outreach clinics. Our newest program has brought pediatric liver transplant services to Central Florida.
