Establish shop priorities to serve the Institution\u2019s priorities
Issue daily work assignments and track progress by worker/task/project
Schedule/monitor OT as needed
Reject work that is not up to shop standards
Ensure that all plumbing installations are code compliant
Close out tickets in a timely manner
Assist in project planning including budget development, feasibility and logistics
Perform feasibility studies
Set and implement performance standards, including safe practices and quality standards
Research material purchases and prepare paperwork for requisitions
Develop and order materials list for each project
Be familiar with overall project schedule and plan for timely delivery of services
Establish two-week schedule forecasts and track actuals to plan
Assess drawings and interact with other trade supervisors to coordinate service delivery

Monitor and assess all hazardous materials and removal
Maintain clean and orderly shop and equipment/tools
Order materials and maintain inventory
Maintain data entry of all labor/materials and equipment
Assess site conditions and recommend changes

Identify and track changes
Interact with faculty, suppliers and contractors
Assist in maintaining client satisfaction
Candidate is expected to use his/her plumbing license to file projects with NYC Department of Buildings.
Perform annual RPZ inspections and respective certifications
Conduct all sprinkler standpipe inspections with FDNY
Conduct monthly visual inspections of sprinkler standpipe systems and keep records accordingly.
